Is It Legal To Review An Internet Guru?

Today I point my review peepers at the so-called Internet Gurus. These people are called Internet Gurus because they've become successful at something (which usually seems to involve a talent for parting acolytes from their money), and their followers faithfully enact each of the pearls of wisdom that fall from said Guru's mouth.
And, it's almost amazing how these “pearls” spread across the Internet and persist for years! Lets examine one of these myths. Search engine friendly URLs. Search engine gurus will tell you the only way your site will be successful and show up at the top of the search engine listings is if the URL (the link that shows in your browser's address bar) looks to each search engine and visitor like its a static HTML page. This is utter garbage, and there is no truth to it at all, but I've spoken to normally intelligent people that would bash my head in (verbally only I hope!) if I disagreed with their belief in this Urban Myth.
Still, I think it's time that we, the little people, also get some of the Internet Guru's cash, so in this article, I am going to show you how to become an Internet Guru!
Start putting up ads and a blog somewhere, and tell everyone you have a secret system that will make anyone a millionaire, and they too can work from home sitting in their tidy whiteys. Keep doing this until your readers start to WANT to believe you really are on to something. Build up the anticipation!
Once you sense they are ready, tell everyone that they must use your Adsense Pub ID on their websites, and if they do this for 6 months, they will start getting massive traffic and sales. This doesn't have to be true. The point is to let them do all the work for you, and part them from their hard earned money!
Once they figure out that they've been used, simply point your finger at them and scream “Unbeliever!”. If this doesn't work, tell them they must not have followed your instructions exactly.
Next, tell your followers that you've discovered that anything that has an eight (8) in it's price will cause customers to impulsively buy it, and your followers will reap obscene rewards. Then offer them a small 1 item shopping cart that will only cost them ... (here it comes) ... $8.00!
Notice I said 1 item shopping cart? This means they will have to buy several copies if they are selling more than one product on the Internet, and who isn't? Followers and their followers and follower's follower's will be snatching up your 1 item shopping cart to sell all their different items for years to come! After awhile, tell everyone their $8.00 script sites must all be unique or it's bad. Put out the same script with a different background and header .. Profits doubled (wink).
Here's another good one and you can use this over and over again once you've reached the mythical Internet Guru status. Pick a category of sites on the Internet... Lets use Article Publishing sites for this example.
Contact the number 1 site that deals with articles, and let them know of your Guru status, and offer to double their visitors (for a small phenomenal fee of course) and skyrocket their links to author's and sites that use the articles from that number 1 article publishing site.
Make a video of yourself in some high rise office building (could be the cafeteria, doesn't matter .. just point the camera towards the window), that claims that submitting articles to anything but the number one article directory will harm their site's Search Engine ranking, and all kinds of other mean, nasty stuff.
After you have the video done, tell all your follower to put it on their sites! Your followers will of course faithfully obey, and soon, the number 1 articles site will get it's boost, you'll get your benefits from them, and all the other article publishing sites and article submission services will get the smack down because no one is visiting them anymore! Hmmmmm ... I see an opportunity for some easy money there too.
Just let me say tho, that not all people on the internet that may have the Internet Guru label thrust upon them are slightly shady. Some are good, trustworthy people that simply offer their experience for what it may be worth to someone else.
But, like everything in life, and on the Internet, you have to look carefully at who it is that you become attached to. If you are constantly supporting this person, and your income from that support is nowhere close to even, move on.
I am currently taking applications for new "Grasshoppers". No need to shave your head, or stand in airports. Just tell everyone what a great site this is!
